Everything is moving forward somehow!
When I got back from Thailand an e-mail was waiting for me, saying that I had gotten the job at Wendy's I did an interview for a few days before I left. Of course that was exciting for me, it meant that I could move forward in my plans to go to the US to work in a summer camp! However, I had to fill out an online application for summer camps. Ugh. It was as long as an HSC paper and probably almost as painfully tedious to fill out. Once more, though, something good happened. The day after I filled out the application I got a call from Mark from Camp Leaders asking some things about my application, and requesting that I re-do some parts more specifically. I did.
This morning Dave from the same company calls me about organising an interview, which is the second part of the process. The interview is set for tomorrow at 6pm. Things are working out. So, tomorrow I'm heading to Sydney with Yvette to go to the aquarium for the day and then the interview. Somethings that I expected to never happen - a job and going to the US - are happening and you know what? I couldn't be more excited!
